Family Business
After 120 years of making socks, Crescent Hosiery Mill has evolved to Crescent Sock Company and is still a family company investing in the community, their employees, and their own brands (World's Softest®, Febb's Boutique® by World's Softest Sock, Mouse Creek Trading Co.®, 1902®, Hiwassee Trading Co.®, and Omni-Wool Tactical®).
And the founding family is not the only family at CSC; some employees work daily with their siblings, parents, grandparents, and cousins making Crescent Sock Company a true family business.

In 2020, World's Softest®Sock launched its latest collection, Febb's Boutique® made in Tennessee. Febb's Boutique is a celebration of how one woman's inspiring words changed history. Febb Burn's letter to her son Tennessee State Representative Harry T. Burn in 1920 caused him to change his vote thereby ratifying the 19th Amendment, ensuring the right to vote for millions of women to come. Today, Febb's great granddaughters are proud to bring you Febb's Boutique to honor Febb and all women who follow in her footsteps.
